Two Selves ("we", "us") is an iPhone app that helps you compare how a day felt while you lived it with how you remember it later. Questions: zandrews77@hotmail.com.
Everything you enter — your daily check-ins, your re-ratings from memory, optional one-line notes, the activity tags you mark, and your settings — is stored locally on your device (using the browser/WebView local storage and, on iOS, the system preferences store). This data is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, or use Settings → Delete all data, it is erased. You can export a copy at any time from Settings → Export my data.
If you buy Two Selves Plus, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. To manage subscription status and restore purchases, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user identifier, your purchase and transaction history for this app, and basic technical information such as device type, app version, and country. It does not receive your journal entries, notes, or ratings. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy.
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content is sent through our servers, because we don't have any.
None. Two Selves contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no cross-app tracking. We do not build a profile of you.
Two Selves is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it: export it as a JSON file, or delete all of it, at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app also removes it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app or on this page.
